The Reception
"Nice To Meet You" is a hostel situated in the middle of a mountain. As it does not have that many customers, there are not there many staff. There are only the manager, the security guard, two customer service officers and a temp who is there just to do ad hoc work such as bringing out the trash. The manager, Zhang Xiaojian, has a lot of ideas but never uses them in the right place. He always tries to shrug off his responsibilities when things go wrong and is stingy as hell. He has a crush on a female resident guest, but can't speak when they meet. He is often anxious because he can't meet his targets, making "I'm too anxious" his tagline; The security guard, Yang Qilin, has read too many detective novels and always thinks of himself as a private detective. He'd collect stuff left by customers and is always tense. He keeps thinking the two female customer service officers likes her, so he always tries to act cool; The two customer service officers have different attitudes and while they are distant relatives, they dislike each other. Jin Nan is addicted to taking selfies, manicures and losing weight, and often does a perfunctory job in cleaning to protect her nails. Tong Yan is a night hour who is always playing mobile games or looking through TikTok at night. Her dark eye circles are so bad yet all she day dreams about everyday is for a knight in shining armour to show up in front of her; The temp Xin is simpleminded yet often causes problem. He is always used by the manager and the security guard. He always listen to audiobooks secretly. He not only has to toss out the customers' trash but also help thempick up takeaway from several kilometers away......
